The only thing I've noticed is that once I change a document and if I use the print to PDF X-change option to resave it, then I cannot edit the text and inserts I made to it initially. About the problem 'Navigating the tools is not very intuitive' - because they are very detailed. Actually, that tools are similar to Adobe, Word etc. We tried to make them intuitive as possible. Once you understand how to customize them, things will be way easier. You can send any question you need answer, not only with an issue. Please feel free to contact us. Pros: I love PDF Xchange, it has so many great features. Adding text to a PDF has never been made in such a good way, it is so easy to enter it and locate it exactly where you want it to be placed. I use it frequently for merging files since it allows me to summarize or compress several files into just one. Cons: I would love if PDF Xchange could do PDF to word conversions, since they are always needed, mostly when one loses the source document which we created the PDF with.
Overall: I totally recommend this software, it is such a great PDF reader and editor for everyone on a tight budget. Pros: we use acrobat and PDF-Xchange the same in our office and I can't rave enough about this program. Its just as capable, cheaper, and it works. Sometimes its even better than Acrobat because it doesn't glitch when you try to mark up a second instance of the program. Cons: stamp feature is weaker, learning curve from Acrobat, Overall: if you have documents from acrobat, sometimes markups don't always show up (depends how you save it).
We've had issues going back and forth from this to acrobat but we have both so its easy to resolve. Pros: PDF-Xchange is a really solid pdf editing software, it is extremely easy to enter texts in it and place them just where you want, something that is almost always a problem with other editors where the grid messes up the position. Cons: PDF-Xchange is not that intuitive so you wont be getting most of it straight out of the box, you have to spend some time practicing with it.
Also on a virtual machine it can crash a lot which is a big problem for me. Overall: Pretty solid pdf editing software at a really affordable prize, I truly recommend it, it is extremely easy and shouldn't represent a big challenge to learn. Pros: It is cheaper than other options in the market and has a lot of great features (such as merging files, editing, signing or encrypt them) that they offer at a greater cost. Also printing large documents with it is much easier than with other readers.

Pros: PDF-Xchange is really cheaper than other options available, it works really great for electronic signing and encrypting my documents, also if you make use of the fact that the free version watermarks your documents it also works as a watermarking software. Cons: Be careful when using the free version of this software, because if you use it as a pdf editor and you don't purchase the full software it will stamp a big watermark on your document and before I knew about this issue I ruined some documents. Overall: PDF xchange is really cheap, incredibly easy to use and has several useful tools for protecting your pdfs, as I mentioned just be careful with watermarks if you use the free version. Pros: One of the big issues of pdf xchange for some people is the fact that if you are editing documents with the free version it will put a watermark on it, however I have used it to watermark on purpose my designs before the client pays for them, it has become my watermarking software.
Cons: This is one of the adobe replacement options that has the most bugs, it will lag a lot, make your pc go really slow and if you are unlucky enough (as I was) it will even crash and make you lose all of the progress you had on your document, so keep constantly saving if you want to edit with this software. Overall: I don't recommend PDF-Xchange as your replacement for adobe, it is way cheaper than other options but it has a lot of stabiltiy issues so you might want to look for other softwares, unless you are planning on using the free version as I do for watermarking.
